Red megaphone with Get out the vote

We have a critical election on November 3rd. (Register to Vote here !)

This will be the first time voting for many newly naturalized citizens who’ve taken citizenship classes at ReWA. Please join us in getting the word out to our clients.

ReWA is recruiting 7-8 volunteers who can speak/write Vietnamese, Somali, Amharic, Oromo, Tigrinya, or Russian.

Volunteers will:

  • Use our phone/text banking platform (training provided) to help ReWA clients register to vote, understand the voting process, and access information on delivering ballots.
  • Need a personal phone and computer
  • Reach out to clients roughly 1-2 hours per week between Oct 1- Nov 3.
  • Attend the mandatory virtual training on Thursday, October 1st from 5:30pm – 7:00pm.

To apply, please complete our online application. For the question about placement, write “GOTV.” Note that there will only be one orientation – date listed above.
