Every 10 years, the U.S. counts every person living in the country through a national Census. The results inform how federal funding is distributed to:
- affordable housing
- public transportation
- Congressional seats, and more.
In the last Census, an under-count of the immigrant and refugee population in Washington state cost us hundreds of millions of dollars in crucial funding for our communities.
ReWA is a proud community partner for Census 2020. Our multilingual case managers help clients complete the Census form, so we can all be counted.
