Family partnership and connections to ReWA services

“ReWA is much more than childcare for our family; it has become a community where our children can learn, grow, and feel a sense of belonging. When we first came to ReWA, I was worried that as they learned English, they might lose their ability to speak our native language, Vietnamese. I’ve been so grateful that ReWA has helped them continue developing their Vietnamese while also learning English and Mandarin. I’ve watched my children become more confident, build friendships, and form meaningful relationships with teachers who genuinely know and care about them.

Seeing my very shy child open up and sing in front of her class is a moment I’ll always remember. ReWA has also given our children opportunities beyond the classroom, like learning to ice skate through its partnership with the Kraken. It was rewarding to watch my child grow from nervously learning a new skill to confidently ice-skating on his own. We are incredibly grateful for the community, education, and opportunities ReWA has given our family.”

Our Curriculum

ReWA classrooms use HighScope active learning and Soy Bilingüe to support the whole child.

Through HighScope, children learn by exploring, making choices, solving problems, creating, and interacting with others. Teachers plan hands-on experiences that build early literacy, math, science, social-emotional skills, and independence while preparing children for kindergarten and beyond.

Soy Bilingüe strengthens our multilingual approach by celebrating children’s home languages, cultures, and identities. Children have opportunities to hear, use, and develop language throughout the day while learning in an environment where their families and cultures are valued.

Together, these approaches help children become confident learners who feel a strong sense of belonging.

I think this is a better use of that box than adding more bullets. It tells parents what HighScope is, what Soy Bilingüe adds, and what that means for their child without getting too technical.
