Black History Month is a time to celebrate the resilience, achievements, and lasting contributions of Black communities throughout history and today. At Refugee Women’s Alliance (ReWA), this month also reminds us of the importance of equity, cultural pride, and access to opportunities for all.
Many of the families we serve include members of the African and African diaspora communities who bring rich traditions, languages, and leadership to our communities. We are committed to supporting Black and Brown communities, including refugees and immigrants by providing culturally responsive programs, advocating for equity, and helping families build strong, self-sufficient futures.
This month, and every month we celebrate Black voices, honor history, and remain dedicated to creating a more inclusive and supportive community for all.
