On Monday, March 16th, we had the honor of celebrating the expansion of our Nook Early Learning Center in collaboration with the Seattle Preschool Program (SPP). We’re extremely thankful to everyone who showed up to support this important milestone, including our Seattle Mayor, elected officials and organizational partners. We appreciate you joining us and recognizing the importance of early learning in our community. Your presence and continued support help elevate the critical need for high-quality childcare and education for all families throughout Seattle and King County.
We’d like to also shout out our Refugee Women’s Alliance (ReWA) Board Members, dedicated staff, and the families whose children are part of our Early Learning Center. You’re at the heart of everything we do, and it was an honor to celebrate this moment with you.
Finally, we’d like to thank the community members who joined us in celebration, as well as the media outlets who helped share this exciting news and amplified our story. Thank you for raising awareness about the importance of early learning and its lasting impact on immigrant and refugee families.
