Nonexempt Regular Full Time (37.5 hrs/week) |
PURPOSE:
Support full range of
fund development and marketing/communications activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-
Maintain donor database & produce monthly reports on donor activity
-
Manage process for receiving and recognizing donations
-
Maintain grant tracking system
-
Assist in creation and production of marketing materials, including
quarterly newsletter
-
Maintain inventory of all marketing and fundraising materials
-
Assist in grant research, writing and reporting
-
Assist in special event planning
-
Lead generation of annual gifts under $600
-
Attend staff meetings and training as required
-
Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Demonstrated strong writing and editing skills
-
Demonstrated ability to multi-task
-
Attention to detail and high degree of organization
-
Fundraising experience
-
Ability to meet deadlines and flexible availability during peak
fundraising times (such as during special events)
-
Proficient using Microsoft Office – including Word, Excel and Access
-
Experience and comfort using desktop publishing applications (Microsoft
Publisher, Adobe InDesign and Illustrator)
-
Assertive and comfortable communicating with donors and sharing ideas
with management
-
Ability to work in a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic environment
