ReWA has the following current employment opportunities available:

POSITION TITLE:	Family Partnership Specialist
DEPARTMENT:	Education
REPORTS TO:	Education Program Director
Status:	Nonexempt Regular Part Time (15 hours/week) / DOQ

Effectively work with both school staff and parents to benefit families by increasing parental involvement in school activities.

Collaborate with school staff to bring parents into the school environment.
Work with parents to develop their involvement in school events and activities including Parent/Teacher conferences and Family Nights.
Complete required record-keeping documenting parent contacts and participation.
Conduct home visits to identified families to raise awareness of school events and parental responsibilities.
Perform standard office duties as required.
Maintain accurate files, monthly reports and paperwork.
Attend program and staff meetings and training as needed.
Other related duties as assigned by program manager.

Demonstrated ability to work in a multicultural setting
Knowledge of school events and activities including testing, after-school programming, and related activities
Knowledge of community resources and ability to refer clients to appropriate resources
Ability to pass school district background checks
Respect for others’ experiences, opinions, language, values, culture, and knowledge
Commitment to teamwork and collaboration
WA state driver’s license and vehicle insurance
